Opposite Sex Marriage?

May 26, 2009

California’s High Court voted 6 to 1 to uphold Prop 8. To some  this vote puts Gays in a “second class status” and “took away their rights” to marriage.

Far from it, the Court simply reaffirmed the ability of the electorate to determine the constitution of California. There is no right to marriage and second class status is hyperbole at its best.

Nowhere has Gay marriage been voted on openly and won. Only activist Judges have imposed Gay marriage, the electorate has said otherwise.
